Yes, you read that correctly. The long awaited and equally adored Dunkin’ Donuts opened today on 12th Street and Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica at 5am. The grand reintroduction of Dunkin’ to the SoCal area after the company closed all of its stores in the area in the 90’s was greeted by a crowd of die-hard fans.
And they weren’t disappointed. The opening celebration included two giveaways, the first person in line received a years worth of free coffee and the first 100 people received a bag of Dunkin’ goodies. The chain even created a one of a kind California inspired doughnut that is available for purchase. How cute is that?
I personally was not there for the opening, because as expected, extreme Dunkin’ Donuts lovers lined up early making it almost impossible for me to receive my favorite, caramel iced coffee. Thankfully, I recently visited my home state of New York and was able to indulge daily for a week straight. Don’t get me wrong, I will be checking out the new location later this week, even if the line is long because Dunkin’ is so worth it.
The Dinner Detective is the largest, interactive comedic murder mystery dinner show in the United States. Our immensely popular shows are set in the present day.
